Piegavelox is pleased to announce that it will showcase its craftsmanship at the 2024 edition of Homo Faber “The journey of life” from September 1st to 30th in Venice, Italy, at the Fondazione Giorgio Cigni
The event, organized by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity & Craftsmanship, is themed “The Journey of Life” It features immersive exhibitions of artisans from around the world in the spaces of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini on the island of San Giorgio
In the third edition of the Homo Faber event, artistic directors Luca Guadagnino, an Italian film director and producer, and Nicolò Rosmarini, an Italian architect, will take visitors on a journey through the defining moments of human life, from birth to the afterlife, seen through the lens of craftsmanship. From childhood to travel, from romance to dreams, significant milestones are celebrated with special objects created by skilled artisans with specific techniques
Inspired by the ten themes that make up “The Journey of Life”, the event will reveal hundreds of objects handcrafted by talented artisans from all over the world, highlighting the different skills, techniques, and innovative approaches behind their creations.
Homo Faber 2024 invites you to discover the craftsmanship behind the objects that accompany the most precious moments in life and Piegavelox is delighted to be able to participate in this edition with its craftsmanship in embroidery, an excellence of the company that has been passing on the same ethics and passion since 1960
