Piegavelox will take part in Milano Unica for the second consecutive year, the leading Italian trade fair dedicated to high-end fabrics and accessories, held from 20 to 22 January 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho, Pavillon 12 – stand E05.
A key moment of dialogue with the industry and an opportunity for us to present our vision of textile innovation.
The Spring–Summer 2027 edition introduces MU COSMETIC, a concept that explores the profound connection between textiles and cosmetics — two worlds that meet through the skin and share the same attention to sensoriality, care and well-being. This research embraces a new way of conceiving fabric: not only as an aesthetic surface, but as a daily gesture of self-care, capable of offering comfort, freshness, protection and a tactile quality reminiscent of beauty rituals.
The three thematic directions — natural essentiality inspired by clean formulas, evening elegance shaped by light and shadow, and the solar vitality of protective products — define a material landscape rich in possibilities. Fabrics become fluid, luminous, soft, technical or high-performance, yet always designed to interact closely with the body. An aesthetic that speaks of transformation, identity and desire, encouraging a deeper connection with what we wear.
This vision aligns perfectly with Piegavelox’s identity, which has always combined craftsmanship and technology, tradition and experimentation, attention to detail and material sensitivity. Our proposals for the fair will focus on this dialogue, interpreting the MU COSMETIC universe through our decades of expertise.
In our workshop, pleating becomes a genuine sensorial experience: from carton pleats to soleil, from sculpted folds to micro-pleats, each movement of the fabric creates subtle vibrations, almost cosmetic in nature. Surfaces unfold and gather like breathing skin, shaped with the precision that has always defined our work.
Alongside pleating, embroidery becomes an intimate language: delicate motifs, custom stitches, intertwining, coiling, corded elements, micro-reliefs and refined applications settle on the fabric like touches of light. Lightweight designs enhance fine materials and tech-jersey, while more structured compositions evoke velvety or silky sensations — always in harmony with the material.
Embossing, stretch processes and interlacing techniques take on an even more evocative dimension: measured reliefs, three-dimensional textures and pressings that generate soft surfaces with cosmetic-like tactility. Velvety effects, fluid waves and delicate structures — technically complex yet sensorially light — bring the fabric closer to the skin. These techniques are complemented by the use of certified materials, such as GOTS-certified cotton yarns and certified waddings, which add comfort, breathability and a protective feel.
For us, presenting these techniques at Milano Unica means showing how matter itself can become experience: fabrics that caress, protect, breathe, shape and illuminate. This is our way of imagining the future of fashion — combining artisanal precision, contemporary sensitivity and profound respect for the body and for the gesture of dressing.
We look forward to meeting you at the fair to share visions, inspiration and new creative directions, and to present how Piegavelox imagines tomorrow’s fashion through a relationship with materials that is increasingly sensitive, conscious and refined. You will find us at the Pavillon 12 – stand E05
